TESTIMONIAL
It obviously took longer than any of us expected, and more than a few
disappointments. But, it was all worth it! We can't wait to move in.

Choosing a Realtor®
|
What do you look for when choosing a REALTOR®? A REALTOR®'s commitment to continuing
education and the achievement of recognition in the field are good places to start.
In my case, I have been awarded the ACCREDITED BUYER REPRESENTATIVE(ABR),
the CERTIFIED RESIDENTIAL SPECIALIST(CRS), and the SENIORS REAL ESTATE SPECIALIST(SRES)
designations. I was also runner-up
for the TXCABA's "REALTOR® of the Year" award in 1995. What does this mean? First, it
highlights the fact that I have taken the time to become the best real estate
professional I can be through continuing education and training. Second, it shows
that I have received recognition as an outstanding REALTOR® from other real estate
professionals.
The CERTIFIED RESIDENTIAL SPECIALIST designation is awarded only to those
individuals who have a significant mix of experience and documented volume of
closed real estate transactions. Only after completing rigorous advanced courses in
finance, technology, and marketing, and upon successful completion of the
required test is this designation bestowed. Fewer than 5% of REALTORS®
in the United States are able to claim the right to be called a CRS member.
The ACCREDITED BUYER REPRESENTATIVE(ABR) designation requires
extensive classroom training, a formidable written examination, and substantial
experience in buyer representation. I am one of only 10,000 REALTORS® in North
America who have earned the ABR designation.
The SENIORS REAL ESTATE SPECIALIST(SRES) designation is granted only to those
who have demonstrated to the Senior Advantage Real Estate Council that they
have the requisite knowledge, experience, and expertise to be a seniors real
estate specialist. Less than 1% of REALTORS® nationally have qualified for this
prestigious and internationally recognized designation. SAREC has members in all
fifty states and Canada.
Being one of three finalists for the TXCABA "REALTOR® OF THE YEAR" award in 1995
was one of the high points of my career and a clear indication that other
real estate professionals recognize and appreciate my skills.
When you mix specialized training, industry recognition, and high ethical standards with over a quarter of a century of experience it adds up to one thing... a winning combination for superior service! Now, to answer the question: How does one choose a REALTOR®? Easy, just call me at (512)345-1030.
